Hioki DC resistance meters measure a broad range of resistance values at a high level of precision. The RM3544 is easy-to-use resistance testers suitable for use on either manual or automated production lines for measuring the winding resistance of motors and transformers as well as the contact resistance of power relays, switches, and connectors.

The resistance of copper wires changes based on the temperature. To address this issue, the Hioki RM3544 Resistance Meter measures both temperature and resistance at the same time, and presents the true resistance with its temperature compensation function. With an extremely wide 0.001mΩ to 3.5MΩ measurement range, the RM3544 provides more than enough capabilities to measure solenoids, choke coils, transformers, motors and many other coil components.

The RM2610 isolates and quantifies the resistance characteristics of electrode sheets, a major component of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), as two components: the composite layer resistance and the interface resistance between the composite layer and collector.  The system allows users to visualize these two quantities by measuring the surface of the electrode sheet with a test fixture that consists of an array of test probes and then using proprietary analytical techniques to quantify them. 

The Hioki RM2610 separates the resistance of the positive and negative electrodes of lithium-ion batteries (LIB) into composite layer resistance and interface resistance (the contact resistance between the current collector and the composite layer) and quantifies the results for further analysis.
